Pull Tab Program -Ronald McDonald House Charities
What is the Pull Tab Program?
Houston's Ronald McDonald House has been involved with the Pull Tab Program for more than six years. Recycling the pull tabs from your beverage cans is a fun and easy way to become involved with the House. Over the years it has proven to be one of our most popular fundraisers. Through the continued support of individuals, corporations and organizations the Pull Tab Program brings in an average of $8,000 a year!
How do Pull Tabs Help the House?
The little tab used to pull open your can of soda can make a huge difference for the families staying at RMH. The aluminum can is valuable, but the tabs are cleaner to collect and take up less space. You could actually pull the tab off for the Ronald McDonald House and then recycle the entire can for yourself or another charity .The money received from recycling pull tabs helps support the operations of Houston's Ronald McDonald House. This money is used to purchase food for the family food pantry, cleaning supplies, and to provide van transportation to and from the Texas Medical Center for the families.
